1st place equitation: 
Sydney Frazier with friendly Frolic

This equitation rider is shown jumping a small, natural obstacle that is appropriate for their level. They have a nice flat back, nether rounded or overly arched, although closing the hip angle slightly would improve the overall look. Her eyes are up and seem to be confidently looking for the next jump. This rider is jumping ahead with level, not sufficiently down, heels. She could also show more release; at this height a generous release is not necessary, but, as evidenced by the animals open mouth, more release would make for a more pleasant equitation picture. A straight line from the rider's elbow, through their hand to the bit is correct for this level.
This rider is showing good potential for the equitation ring. They would benefit from some work in the two-point position for better support in their base. 

1st place hunter:
Appealing Promise ridden by julia house

This dark bay is nicely turned out, in good flesh with a shiny coat. Her bascule would be improved with a slightly more generous release in the air so she could use her head and neck. Her forearms are just level and she could be a bit tighter with her knees. My guess would be that she improves over a higher, wider fence. Over this low oxer she is jumping in a relaxed manner and looks the part for the hunter ring.
