MeHJA is a nonprofit organization and relies on sponsorships and donations from partners and community members. Sponsorships and donations help MEHJA to achieve the organization's mission which is to promote hunters, jumpers, and hunter seat equitation in ME, the breeding of horses and ponies suitable for hunters and jumpers in ME, education regarding hunters, jumpers and hunter seat equitation, and to provide rules for fair and equitable competition.

The organization is currently seeking sponsorships for 2024 MEHJA run shows (including the MEHJA Summer Classic and MEHJA Fall Finals) along with looking ahead to the 2024 Year End Awards banquet.
